Jan. 1st-2nd Hilary Everyday & Cupcake Decorating

I was inspired by friend to post a picture everyday on instagram/fb for a year. I figured I probably post almost everyday anyway so why not make a point to do it and keep track, should be fun right? I'm looking forward to it and hopefully you will too!  Be looking for #hilaryeveryday2014

 

 Day 1: Waiting Game

So ready for this little man to get here!

 

 I came in to find Charley like this, Daddy got her hooked up with her own show so he could watch football

 At least she's eating a healthy snack

 

Finally finished Corby's collage wall. I just got cheap canvaeds from Walmart and painted the mirror frame from my grandmother's dresser and used it as the frame to go around pics.

 

 

Jan. 2nd

My friend Kari asked us to join them at cupcake store called Small Cakes to decorate Minion Cupcakes and of course we said yes! It was just $5 a kid and they gave us step by step instructions, it was super fun and would be a great place for a birthday party or girls night out!

 Brady picked Vanilla but would have preferred Chocolate but they ran out

 We started with the blue icing and then stuck a straw all the way down to help hold the twinkie up

 Even Kara and Baby Hayden did one!

 Next we added black icing for the goggle part of the eyes!

 Then marsh mellows that were marked with a tiny black dot for eye! Brady decided his minion would have 3 eyes!

Dec. 28th-31st Christmas with M&M, Tubbing, Dishes, Dance Off, & Snuggies

Ryan's grandparents came in from out of town to do Christmas with us at our house. The kids love seeing them!

Dec. 29th

Today there was just one service at church and Pastor Craig was not preaching so since things are fixing to really change around our house we decided to take the day to have a family day and invited my friend Hillary and her kiddos! Our sitter Maegan works at the Gaylord at the Kung Fu Panda Snow Tubbing and got us some free tickets so we couldn't pass it up! This was our second year to do this, last year Charley didn't want to have anything to do with it. This year we did get her to go actually go twice but she still wasn't sure what to think. FYI, this is a lot of  fun, but whoever came up with this did not create it with parents who are picture taker freaks, its so dark and I've tried everything to get a good picture, so please forgive them!

Dec. 30th

While cleaning up after dinner my sweet Brady boy asked if he could help me with the dishes, love his caring sweet heart! Of course Charley decided to help too!

 

 

 

 

We watched Turbo with the kids tonight and the best part of watching a movie with these two is the dance off they have when the movie is over, hilarious!

Dec. 31st

I don't know if its just my kids but they are always cold. They do not come to the dinner table without a blanket. I honestly think Charley just does it b/c Brady does and Brady is skin and bones. I decided a great Christmas present for them both would be a snuggie so they could at least use their arms and still be covered. Both a their blankets are a little big but they are still enjoying them! Brady got a Texas Rangers and Charley got a Hello Kitty.

 



 

 

Dec. 27th 38wks

Another week that I felt was necessary to be creative and come up with my own comparison! One site I was supposed to be a leek and the other was a pumpkin, which I've already been a small pumpkin for the week of Halloween, so a Christmas Present it was!

 

At my appointment yesterday there was no change in my dilation but I was 50% effaced, so maybe something will happen this week. I've been experiencing lots of contractions and just starting to get to that uncomfortable, I'm ready stage! I'm so READY to meet this little guy, but I remind myself daily that this is the last time I will ever feel a tiny little miracle moving around inside me and that's what keeps me going!

Corby and I had a talk and I told him I wanted to get through Christmas and then he was more than welcome to come anytime, so Christmas as come and gone, let's go Corbs! The bags have been packed for a couple of weeks and I got the carseat in the car yesterday, we're ready Baby Boy!

 

Charley was in a mood this morning, it took Daddy coming up to take the picture, 4 takes, baby Stella, and Brady holding her present to get this girl to smile!
